Meet the Chef: Jess Dang
Our Chef Council is responsible for all the delicious recipes you see on the menu each week. Jess Dang, of Cook Smarts, is a self-taught cook who discovered her passion for cooking over a decade ago in Florence, Italy. Jess is one of our contributing chefs, and we are happy to feature her creative and wholesome recipes on our menu.
Since the time Jess spent in Florence, she has appeared on The Food Network, started a boutique catering company, and worked as a cooking instructor. Driven by a strong belief that health starts in the kitchen, Jess left the corporate world in 2011 to dive into food and education full time. She started Cook Smarts, a company that creates and delivers a range of educational cooking tools and information to help home cooks live happier, simpler, and smarter in the kitchen.
