Apple Cider Sangria

We have a thing for sangria and apple cider around the Plated office. In fact, it’s not entirely uncommon to see someone sneak a bottle from the ‘fridge at noon – er – happy hour. This Apple Cider Sangria combines our two loves for three times the seasonal goodness. With hard cider, regular apple cider and pure maple syrup, this sangria-inspired drink is ideal for sipping while watching the leaves turn this fall!

Hard Apple Cider Sangria

from Bakeaholic Mama

2 servings

1-12 oz bottle of hard cider, chilled (We love Stella Cidre!)
1 oz apple brandy
½ cup regular apple cider
1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
1 apple, thinly sliced
2 cinnamon sticks

Mix both types of cider, syrup and brandy in a small pitcher. Divide sliced apple into 2 glasses, and pour over cider. Garnish with cinnamon sticks.
